I started listening to Dave Ramsey when I was 18 years old back in 2008. I credit Dave for helping me NEVER GET IN DEBT in the first place. I followed his advice strictly from 2008 till 2018. That was when I began to get credit cards to improve my credit score for investing purposes. To this day I have never carried a balance on my credit cards. In either 2019 or early 202 I discovered the Money Guy Show on Youtube. I started hearing them say "respect the FOO" and then explain their Financial Order of Operations. At first I figured it was just repackaged Dave Ramsey content like a lot of "internet gurus" do. However as time went on and I continued to listen to their show I began to understand the intricacies of the financial order of operations and how it differs from the baby steps.

In this video I break down the similarties and the differences between the two and give my opinion and analysis on the two different financial game plans.
