Otomagnetics to Treat Tinnitus, Hearing Loss, and Ear Infections

Otomagnetics has developed an experimental platform technology that magnetically delivers therapy to the internal ear, eye, and skin infection targets. It accomplishes this by utilizing a minimally invasive magnetic injection platform to deliver therapeutic nanoparticles to better penetrate these organs.

It is currently under investigational use and not approved by the FDA yet, but holds great promise to more effectively treat hearing loss, tinnitus, protect hearing from chemotherapy damage, and ear infections without need for oral antibiotics and ear tube placements.
