They were only saved by the quick thinking of Captain Kevin Sullivan - so why has Qantas refused to give him and the crew the recognition they deserve? And why were the warning signs from QF72 not heeded by other airlines? Please don’t forget to sign Fuzzy’s petition at https://www.change.org/p/qanta....s-forgotten-heroes-o

PART 3 | Although Captain David Cronin and the crew managed to evacuate over 300 lucky survivors from Flight 811, for the families of the victims who lost their lives on the flight, the ordeal is only just beginning. Kevin and Susan Campbell lost their son, Lee. Their grief motivates them to find the cause of the accident. Kevin and Susan Campbell’s tireless crusade for answers finally results in the NTSB retrieving the cargo door from the ocean floor. This new evidence, combined with the malfunction of another 747’s electrical door locking, leads to the NTSB issuing a revised report. This one concludes that electrical wiring is at fault. Changes are implemented immediately to prevent another accident like Flight 811 from happening.
Do you think Lee Campbell's parents got justice for his avoidable death?

Featuring discussions with police, local politicians, teachers, students, and survivors, this powerful, hard-hitting documentary reveals the truth about knife crime in Britain.
Shopkeepers sell lethal weapons to children; students confess that they "feel naked" if they don’t have a knife; and closed circuit televisions are often the only witnesses to fatal stabbings. It seems as though anybody can become a victim of knife crime these days, or is it mostly media hype? If it isn’t, do the police have the situation under control? Stabbed delves deeply into this devastating social problem for answers.

The Price of Honor is an award-winning documentary about the murders of Amina and Sarah Said, teenage sisters from Lewisville, Texas, who were killed in a premeditated “honor killing” in 2008. The film chronicles the lives of the sisters and the path to their eventual murders by their own father, Yaser Said, who fled the crime scene and remains at large.
The film reveals new details and uncovers evidence about the case that has never before been made public, including a previous murder committed by Yaser, his abuse of his daughters from a young age, and the ultimate sacrifice of Amina Said, who had a secret plan to protect the love of her life. Her voice, through home video, emails, letters and diary entries, becomes a powerful thread throughout the film depicting the girls’ struggle and makes us reconsider much of what was assumed about this case. Despite the tragedy, viewers learn of an incredible love story that still has life after death.

In 1990 Romania, the world was stunned by what was revealed: Images of orphanages, of starving, freezing unloved children, suffering shocking untold misery.
Crammed into small rooms, bed-bound on rotting faeces stained matresses, they were closeted away from the society and often malnourished.
Many of them in fact were not orphans, but had been placed in the institutions by the desperately poor families who had been forced to have more children than necessary as part of Nicolae Ceausescu’s insane population building policy.
Thousands of parents all over the world responded by going to Romania to adopt a child. In some cases it took as little as two weeks to complete the process.
324 children were officially adopted into English families and 787 into Irish families. This documentary will tell some of their stories, as we trace the progress of a group of these Romanian orphans and their adoptive families.

“You feel like you’re on display. You’ve got all these people watching you and you’re wearing this shirt that singles you out. You’re on the spot.” Lacy, 14, is an orphan, and a better description of her situation would be hard to imagine. Lacy is on the look-out for parents, and the South Mississippi ‘adoption picnic’ could be the last chance she gets to grow up within a family environment. For the first time, cameras have been allowed into the yearly picnic where prospective foster parents get to see the children in a lively, social situation. Brainchild of adoption specialist Sylvia Sessions, The Picnic invokes strong emotions in the participants, and this Witness film captures every poignant moment.

When Halifax resident Holly Bartlett was found almost a kilometre from her condo, police quickly closed her case, calling her death an accident. They concluded the 31-year-old woman, who was blind, wandered drunk and disoriented away from her building, crawling under a fence and up a cement structure beneath the McKay Bridge, where she suffered the injuries that contributed to her death. Family, friends and colleagues have never believed it, insisting her death was suspicious.
Almost a decade later, a team of investigators return to Holly’s story. Reviewing old evidence and uncovering new, this programme sheds light on what really happened that frosty March evening in 2010.
