Beth’s Tinnitus Success Story: A Cyclist and Mother Working in Laboratory Sales

Beth’s tinnitus, which she describes as a high-pitched, hissing sound, began very suddenly at Christmas time. The noise continued 24/7, disrupting her work and personal life and causing severe anxiety.

Beth found that she couldn’t do her job properly due to the constant disruption of her tinnitus symptoms. She states that even when trying to do something as simple as composing an email: “I couldn’t put a sentence together.”

Beth was so disturbed by her tinnitus symptoms that she even considered taking three months off from work in order to de-stress (as stress can intensify tinnitus symptoms).

She explored many treatment options, from an audiologist to an acupuncturist, but no one offered relief. Beth was so distressed that she says she would have tried anything to silence her tinnitus. However, nothing worked until she arrived at Sound Relief Hearing Center. After one consultation, she experienced a newfound hope. Why? As she explains, Dr. Julie gets it.

Thanks to this, Beth is now able to enjoy her job and leisure activities like she once did.
